Alex Weatherly has more than 20 years’ experience in tax and estate planning law. A former certified public accountant, he’s a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He co-authored continuing legal education manuals on estate planning and estate administration. He is a member of the Richland and Sumter County Estate Planning Councils as well as the Probate and Estate Planning and Tax Sections of the American Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar Association. He is a 1980 graduate of The Citadel, and received his law degree from the University of South Carolina in 1986.
